Bringing back an oldie but a goodie challenge!

One of the great things about the digital photo age is all the possibilities that are out there. Have you ever wanted your photo on the cover of a magazine? Well this week's challenge is to take a photograph and turn it into a mock magazine cover. The subject matter is entirely up to you. Be creative, have fun, put your kids, or hobbies or artwork on display as a magazine cover! Who says you have to wait for National Geographic or Time or Newsweek or Creating Keepsakes to put you on the cover? Make your own.

Some tips for this challenge:

• Remember the rules of composition? The rule of Simplicity is a good one to follow for this challenge.
• When composing the photo remember to keep some blank space for text and/or graphics.
• Look at your favorite magazines and their covers. Use them as inspiration.
• Don't be intimidated. Putting together a mock magazine cover is pretty much the same as designing a scrapbook page! Have fun!

Wow - those were great girls! They look real. Great idea using all the different angled shots of the car Irene. I missed last month's challenges but I'm all geared up to do May's! Got some new pics and everything
