Mixed Bag Monday Challenge #18 - Celebrating Autumn !

Hey everyone !

I can't believe we are smack-dab in the middle of fall already ! I confess, autumn is my favourite season ! I love it, this season is so beautiful... Who on Earth could get enough of those beautiful crunchy leaves, those stunning colors bursting everywhere, apple picking and pumpkin carving, huh ?! OK, before Autumn is gone and winter comes, let's celebrate its beauty and colors !

I'm sure you all have pictures of you or your kids playing in the leaves, going apple-
picking, visiting a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, or getting lost in a corn maze... Perfect ! You don't need anything else to play along with us !

This week's challenge - should you choose to accept it - is to scrapbook your special autumn memories using those rich autumn colors of rust, golden yellow, soft brown and olive green that you find in nature during this beautiful season. Easy peasy !

OK, now let's add to the fun with a little extra something to put on your autumn layouts: LEAVES ! Just a few or a lot, you decide ! MissMint has lots in the shop. Just type 'fall' or 'autumn' in the search spot and you'll have lots to choose from !

I have a couple of fall layouts to do and I was waiting to see if Miss Mint was going to put out a new kit in November but I guess now I'll have to do at least one this week!
Cool challenge Ingrid this is going to be nice to have the gallery in fall mood I'm sure.

MissMint is always full of surprise when releasing her new prods ! No one can tell in advance what she's going to upload in the store, not even the team members !

The two fall/autumn kits in the store are great, and even more when used together ! You won't be desappointed using them, that's for sure !

i don't have any fall/leaves pictures. btoh kids are sick now for almost a week and we can't get outside... AND it's raining the whole time.

I hear you, Birgit ! Arthur is kinda sick too, i just had to check his temperature and gave him medication to help him feel better ! He's sick every other week since he started childcare last september !

I love fall, its colors, the apples and pumpkins but certainly not the rotten bugs that come along with it !

Use an old pic if you don't have fresh ones ! I don't mind !

You can also scrap something you like (or dislike) about fall without using any photo, just like Kirstie did for last week's challenge ! There are lots of possibilities actually !

Ingrid: No problem, I know I'll find stuff to scrap with, just always curious about new products, but I got Plumberry Harvest last year, it was love at first sight with such a gorgeous kit.

Birgit: Maybe you can find a creative way to do a LO. You may have pictures taken during the fall even if not directly related to fall events, you may have a kid born in the fall, your kids may have a soft toy that is an animal living in the woods, you may have pictures of your kids wearing clothes in fall colors, whatever.

And if not, just use your free week to do something totally different, like a Summer or Christmas layout!

Nina: You're so quick. Here I am, still pondering which pictures to use and how I am going to scrap them and you're already finished. Nice job you did here.

Obviously one cannot draw statistical conclusions out of a population of 2 but if we were to look at Birgit and Nina on one side and you and I on the other side, I'd said that Germans are fast scrappers and Frenchies slow scrappers, LOL.
