I'm exhausted

Getting up at 5am just isn't for me. I am tired!! The kids and I went to an apple orchard today -- it was so nice outside. Mind you it was 90 degrees. :eyepop: It's almost October and it sure doesn't feel like fall around here. We had a good time, I still need to edit my pictures. My oldest son is cracking me up, he was purposely posing so that I would make a nice page all about him. lol Then my youngest kept saying she couldn't wait to try her apple simon -- (cider) -- we're not sure where she got simon. lol2

Amen on the 5:00am mornings. My youngest has significant sleep issues, which means Mom has significant sleep issues. Normally I sleep for a few hours when his home health aid comes in the morning, but she has been sick. Needless to say, I have LOVED our snuggle time in the mornings, but I'm about to keel over. I don't know how I did it when they were younger. :bigeek:

My family went to the apple orchard last weekend. We just love it. It really does make for some hilarious family memories...and some fantastic apple crisp. Mmmm.

Hey I just moved from Nebraska -- did you go to Fontelle Apple Orchard? We loved going there. The one we went to today is gigantic -- it's like Vala's but with apples. lol

I'm awake most mornings at 4.30am and up by at least 5am! My kids wake up between 5-5.30am and some morning I am actaully at the gym at 5am :bigeek:

I'm so used to it now it doesn't bother me. I get so much done before it's time to take my eldest to school. I'd hate to be trying to wake up my kids to get ready for school and rushing to get them some breakfast. That would frazzle and tire me more!

We actually go to Hillside orchard outside of Ceresco. It's not very big, but we love it. They have apples, pumpkins and raspberries in the fall, so we really make a day of it. Where were you at in Nebraska?

I know I stay up late alot. Usually about 1 am then DH often comes calling. Kids up at about 6 am. So yeah I am tired alot. Luckily for me I am a morning person so I survive.

Holy cow Kirstie...you go girl. I am only good at 5:00am if I stayed up to see it. Thankfully, because we homeschool, we can keep whatever schedule works for us. And with my oldest also being a night owl, we don't usually start our day until around noon...Well, my youngest starts our (his and my) day initially about 3 hours after I get to bed, but I do go back to sleep for about 3 hours when his HHA gets here, and then my oldest and I are ready to start our day (again) about the same time. And my youngest...he's ready for lunch while we are eating breakfast. lol2

What a mess we must seem. Oh well...I've learned to let go and do what works. lmao

I have my moments where I am still up at 2am sometimes 3am. Can't seem to do it as often anymore. lol
