LOL! Let's talk about some women's stuff - Pap Tests and breast Checks :annoyed:, okay, I know none of us like having them but we all SHOULD be having them.

I've just been for my annual health check with my doctor so basically wanted to just remind everyone that if you haven't had a Pap Test in 2 years go and get it done. Don't forget to check your breasts regularly and go to the doctor immediately if something doesn't seem right.

That's it for now, Doctor Kirstie signing off lol2

Fortunately, I just keep getting pregnant and having babies so I'm definitely up-to-date with my checkups!

I'm too old for babies, but I sure am having fun with hot flashes! lol2
I do get my regular pap tests and mammograms, as I am hooked into one prescription for the hot flashes, and I only get one year of pills, so I have to go back each fall to a total check up. It's a good idea for everyone!

Here's a thought: I was after my hubby for 4 years to go & get a check up annually after age 40. :shake: Finally at 44 he went and without any symptoms, he was found to have over the moon cholesterol. He started on medication immediately and changed his lifestyle habits. Who knew? He would have dropped dead in the kitchen one day and had us all wondering what happened..... he was so active and healthy..... in his case it is entirely hereditary.

Get after those gorgeous hubbies too, girls!:blowkiss:

I just wanted to add how scary it is at the age that some of these women are diagnosed with breast cancer!! Here, our health system covers yearly mammograms starting at the age of 40...yet I've seen women as young as in their 20's being diagnosed...some too late.
That's really scary and hits really close to home!

I have SO much stuff ! I would take forever to list my makeup must haves ! :)

I just use an eye contour serum (mine's by Nuxe) before my tinted moisturizer, put a little mascara on, and that's all for everyday use ! ;)

I'm so NOT a makeup person. I do look after my skin though and use Aveda products.

I LOVE perfume though :) I always a lot of bottles!

What's the best chocolate for PMS!!! I love Quaker Oats Brownie Mix made with half a cup of milk chocolate chips. It makes two pans of brownies too.

That reminds me I need to send my daughter to the store for brownie mix LOL

Totally agree about the eyelash curler...I don't know how anyone could live without one!!!

I've used an eyelash curler about 3 times in my life! My eyelashes are thick and I also have a double row of them so rarely even need mascara, just sometimes on the tips of them. I used to get teased at school by people saying that I always only wore mascara but never did.

I wear the triple color eye shadow for brown eyes (used to be Revlon I think, and now I have the Physician's formula one with 3 different shades of each) and mascara.

If I wear makeup on my whole face, I just feel gross. My skin doesn't have much oil, so actually washing my face every night instead of just in the shower gives me issues with my skin. I feel obligated to wash my face at night if I have makeup on my face, so I just wear makeup on my eyes and rub it off before I go to bed.

Luckily I have freckles so no one notices anything amiss on my face.

I hardly ever wear makeup... pretty much just on Sundays and maybe on a Saturday if we're going out. I've seriously had the same two things of eyeshadow since before I got married (almost 3 yrs ago)... lol

Megan, I can't wash my face a lot either. I wash it when I shower and if I've worn makeup... washing twice a day MAKES me break out. How weird that I thought washing it more would help, but nope!

Me too. Well you wear more makeup than I do. I pretty much wear makeup on Christmas and New Years LOL If my makeup was kids it would all be in grade school by now.

LOL... oops. They'd be gone really quickly here too. I only make one pan at a time. I store the rest of the brownie mix and chips in the cupboard for another time. It's handy for blah rainy days when I really don't want to go out for anything but really want chocolate :o)

p.s. I love the Thins too. The mint is good but my absolute favourite is the Toffee bits

If it's chocolate, bring it on!!! I'm not picky! :) If I make cookies, brownies, anything really, I have to send the rest with my hubby to work the next day or they'll be gone before he gets home!!!! I too, have NO self control when it comes to sweets!!!

Why am I the Miss Mint Thread Killer... :shake: Don't make me the thread killer on this one ladies...

Check, Check and Check on the check-ups...been there, done that and doing that next month. I go to the doctor regularly to check my blood pressure and depression, which is all under control and I'm working on my health/weight...so, check. :happydance:

Make-up. Ugh, I like wearing it. It makes me feel better. I use a cheap-o-eye lash curler. Someone asked me about a year ago if I wore fake eye lashes. LOL! Uh, no. ;) On that note, I don't wear make up everyday. I do have rosecea, so I get red cheeks very easily. I'm pondering buying some face care stuff online to see if it helps.

woman stuff! yay! ok so here's a secret. i havent had, ahem, my lady parts "checked" out since i had jacob... TERRIBLE, i know. :shake: it's a long story that involves health insurance... but i wont get into all that... ;) basically, it just boils down to i dont have any because it's too friggin expense. jacob and josh are covered but not me. soon to change though! josh is opting out of his medical this month. we are going to save $200 a month AND i'll be covered. so yay for going to the girly doctor soon. yay...

havent had to have the twins checked out yet, but that day is soon approaching

make-up: hardly ever wear it. and when i do, it's cover-up, eyeliner, mascara, and blush. im a big fan of MAC and bare essentials. im going to have to check out this tinted moisturizer stuff though. im intrigued.

im going to brag and say that i dont have to use an eyelash curler. good thing too, cause im super lazy. lol2

pms: dont really crave anything. i just turn into an emotional wreck. it's fun! :hissy:
