Ok... b/c this is a different scrapping crew...
What are your favorite fonts to use for tittles and journaling? Right now I've been using Ali Edward's handwriting font (http://www.lifeartmedia.com/aliedwardsfont) a little too much for journaling... And when I don't use alphas (or in combination with) I use Misproject (http://www.dafont.com/misproject.font) a lot.

I try to vary fonts as much as I can, because I love fonts! I have about 3000 (with a few extra I DLed the other day).
The only one I would say I've used frequently is Pea Happy Girl, because it's somewhat close to my own handwriting. I really should go to Fonts for Peas and look for other "handwriting" fonts so I don't always use Pea Happy Girl. One day I may even send in my own. ^_^

Oh man... I love CK Ali's hand... and Pea Bonnie Script, Pea Kristen, and Adler's a good and versatile one. I'll ahve to look at my fonts again the next time I open PSE to remember the other ones I use frequently. Basically, the Pea Fonts (http://www.kevinandamanda.com/scrapbook/fonts/fontsforpeas/) are my most used, particularly for journling. Oh, that reminds me that I still haven't DL'ed the newest set... and I can already tell Pea Alyssa and Pea Sarah Quick will be faves. ;)

Some of my faves for journaling are Marker Fine Point, most of the Pea fonts, Century Gothic and Courier New. For titles, it depends on my mood I guess. lol

I must say I don't care for the Ali font. Loved it at first, but I see it everywhere, and I don't like that low-swooping "L" As far as journaling goes, I find myself using FG Bonnie's font. It looks a lot like my own handwriting. I also use 1942 report a lot.
Never knew about the pea fonts! Need to check 'em out! TFS!
But I'm a font junkie, since I go to great lengths to find just the right font for a title. Then I'll probably never use it again.

My favorite is definitely my own. I use it for journaling on almost every page I make. It makes it more personal to me. My handwriting is definitely not cute, but I love that it's mine!
And other than that, pea fonts and Ali's font (but I don't use her font for journaling).

I used to use HammerKeys for that typewriter look but then I switched to 1942 report. Those two are my favorite for that typewriter look.
For journaling my favorite is Pea BethC since it's the closest to my handwriting now.
For quotes I use justy1 which looks like those official fonts stamps to me.
On my laptop I have tons of fonts, mostly from dafont and peas fonts but now on my new computer I just have the ones I mentioned with the defaults.

I love to give my LO's a typewriter look so i use very often Underwood Champion (http://www.dafont.com/fr/search.php?psize=m&q=underwood+champion) which has French characters (é è à etc...) for ponctuation ! ;)

There are font designers and you ahve to pay to get it done. You cna also send in your handwriting to Kevin and Amanda (the Pea fonts)... they won't guarantee they'll do it, but they'll do it for free if they do. ;)

I had a couple friends do it free too.... but Darcy Baldwin will do it for like $10.

I'll have to agree that I don't like the low swooping l in the ali handwriting font. I also don't like to use it for long journaling because it is difficult to read. I tend to use courier new, 1942 report, century gothic...arial... so many to choose from.

I love the Pea Fonts, 1942 report or ones like it, A Bit of Flaire by Darcy Baldwin and one I got from an old magazine Scrapbook Answers called FG Amelia. It's a great script font.

I'm so boring. I LOVE Helvetica ROFL.
Lately I keep calling out the names of fonts on TV, billlboards, magazine ads etc. with pride.
You know you have a problem when....

OMG!! I do this too.. it drives hubby insane. Sunday I was making 'home-made' lasagna and when I looked at the Hunt's can I told DH what the cursive font was.. he rolls his eyes and says I need to get away from the computer for a minute. Why don't they appreciate our skill in recognizing fonts :loco:

Then you'll love this:
Royal Tenenbaum's World of Futura (http://www.peppermintcreative.com/forum/Here%20%20http://www.marksimonson.com/article/87/royal-tenenbaums-world-of-futura)
Ooooh, I'm a font JUNKIE!!! I'll admit that I love a free font but pay fonts have been a new addiction. I'm looooving Ronna Penner's stuff (http://www.myfonts.com/browse/person/penner/ronna/). Inkster, Rockford, Sweetheart Script.....they're all awesome! She has a tiered discount set up through MyFonts.com so the more you buy the cheaper they get.
I like grunge fonts, too. Base02, Dirty Ego and You Are Loved (of all the names for a grunge font...) are my go-to's. Dirty Ego is my fave. The letters are all caps BUT the lower case letters have more smears & splatters while the uppercase characters are less messy. Like two fonts in one, depending on the look you want.
Anyone stumbled across any new, cute pay fonts that they can't live without?
