Avatar Help

Okay, I'm stumped. I "told" MissMint yesterday that Mr. Mint needed to do a tutorial on making an avatar, but I haven't seen anything yet. lol

Can anyone out there lend a hand? I would like to make an avatar from a photo, but every time I try to resize a picture to 100x100 it becomes so pixelated you can't tell WHAT I am, let alone who. rofl

I am using PSE 6.0 if that helps. Thanks for any input y'all can offer.

Wish I could help you. My problem is that sometimes I can see avatars but mosty not. Does anyone know why?

YEAH!!! Hopefully you all can see it too. I played around some more, and using my "Save for Web" option, think I got an OK photo. ::yipee::

As for seeing others avatars MissPotts, I wish I could be of help. I'm a real newbie to the whole "forums" thing. I was able to get mine turned on through my User settings, but I'm not sure how to help with sometimes seeing them, and sometimes not. I hope you are able to get some help. :bounce:

I'm guessing maybe sometimes you're viewing the forum signed into your account and oemtimes you're not signed in? That's the only reason why I would think that you only see avies sometimes. Once you're signed in you should be able to go to USER CP there along the top next to GALLERY, FAQ, MEMBERS LIST, etc. and go to Edit Options. You should be able to enable avatars, signatures, images, etc.
