To answer the other Q's...

1. Is he embarrassed by the blinkie/fan club?
He pretends to be but I think he secretly likes it.
He didn't pose for the blinkie, the pictures I had and I told him after I posted the blinkie that I'd done it.

2. Why Mint/Peppermint?
To be honest no real special meaningful reason. I started doing freelance design a LONG time ago and wanted to have a name, I don't know why I picked Peppermint. I think my brother suggested Insane Cow or something. I wanted to go with Pengiun something. I like Peppermint, to me it sounded fresh and clean etc. So then I didn't want to say Peppermint 'graphic design', advertising because I didn't know what I was going to be getting into so I went with something generic...Peppermint Creative. That
could be anything.

So I got the domain name and hosted my portfolio. Hated freelancing and when I decided to make a scrap store I figured, well I already have the domain name, I'll just use that - Peppermint Creative works. At the time I was stuck at home, too sick to work. I started this as a way to keep me busy. I never thought it would be anything. I never thought I'd have more than a few customers. I flipped out when I made my first sale on the first day...like I couldn't BELIEVE that people came. I thought it would takes MONTHS and even then, I didn't think it would be anything 'real'.

This is far beyond what I expected. But I'm very glad. I think I had a bigger vision than I was aware of, or maybe it was just my advertising background, I started thinking that so many BIG companies had a mascot - or avatar, Mickey Mouse, Tony the Tiger, the Michelin Man, McDonalds, Wendys, Toys R Us etc etc. So I thought I needed one. And as I was falling asleep one night I just thought, ohhh her name should be Mint...Miss Mint....Miss PEPPER Mint...PERFECT!

I never intended to hide myself, that wasn't my plan...it kind of just happened and then I ran with it. Once you all saw Mr.Mint, it all got a little more interesting. LOL.

At the gym..I stalked him, I'll admit it. I have no shame. You've seen him - you would have stalked him too.

I have a brother Matthew and the family all calls him Matthew but everyone else calls him Matt. But doing that for brothers and lovers is a little different.

That's how it is with my DH's family! His name is Matthias, but his whole family calls him Matt. He tried to become more distinguished when he came to college, but some people still call him Matt. I have to call him Matthias though...Matt just doesn't work for me.
