Woohoo ! I'm hosting my first MBM challenge of 2010 ! I hope you all enjoyed the festive season and are feeling refreshed and renewed, ready for all that 2010 has in store ! I know i am ! ;) Now that you're armed with those Year in Review and resolution layouts, let's have a look back in the past !
This week's challenge is super simple and all you have to do is to recreate a layout that you've done in the past to make it better than ever !
Choose an old-fashioned layout of yours, one which needs a complete revamp and make it more personal, sentimental or just more consistent with your current scrapping style : use those Photoshop skills you've learned recently to update the style and design, or simply add that journalling you skimped on before... It's up to you !
Just think that your layout has to be significant for those who will reflect back on the memory in the future ! ;)
Make sure that you share (or link to) the original layout so that we can all see how the updated version has improved !
Below is an example to get the creative juices flowing !
I've created this birthday page a few months before MissMint released that great "Birthday Boogie" collection of hers ! I do love my original page but i just couldn't help but use that newest awesome birthday kit on a page ! It's sooo cute !

I cheated a little bit and used one of Cindy's templates to update the style and design and only focused on the photo processing, embellishment work and journalling (my favorite part actually !). See how the updated page looks different ?! Isn't it amazing ?! Aaah, i really am in love with all those funny details such as the party hat, the gift bow and the streamer which really make my page pop !

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Create a project according to the challenge prompt.
2. Use a significant amount of Peppermint Creative product.
3. Post your page in the Main Gallery & link to it in this thread.
4. Pages must be posted by midnight on Sunday January 24th (EST).
5. Winner announced on Monday (selected by challenge hostess).
6. Winner receives one Minty Buck ($1GC to the PC store)
7. One page per challenge please.
