Mixed Bag Monday Challenge #19 - Lift-a-Chick Challenge

Whoops! We accidentally took an MBM break last week so I'm posting this week's challenge a tad early. This weeks challenge is simple and fun. This week I'm challenging you to a Lift-a-Chick Challenge. I want you to browse the design team gallery (http://www.peppermintcreative.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=502) and scraplift a Mint Chick's page. ANY chick..ANY page.

What is a scraplift?
To take inspiration from an existing page. There are no hard, fast rules. You can take inspiration any way it comes from the page you've chosen. Typically, people copy the general page design but add their own papers, pictures and elements. You do not HAVE to create an exact replica. Feel free to adjust the page to suit your needs. Try to avoid a CASE (where you Copy And Steal Everything). We want to see your unique touch!

Click the layout and scroll down to below the credits, before the comments & you will see HTML code listed.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Create a layout according to the challenge prompt.
2. Use a significant amount of Peppermint Creative product.
3. Post your page in the Main Gallery & link to it in this thread.
4. Pages must be posted by midnight on Sunday November 15th (EST).
5. Winner announced on Monday (selected by challenge hostess).
6. Winner receives one Minty Buck ($1GC to the PC store)
7. One page per challenge please.

this is soooooo hard!!! normally when i lift something i don't own the kits used - so even if i wanted to i couldn't copy too much.

but here it's different- this is going to be a CASE - the pages i chose to lift look perfect the way they are so i don't know WHAT to change. it just doesn't feel right!! especially when i have the elements waiting to be used...

What a fun game to play this week !!!!! It's super exciting to think one of our pages could be selected for a lift !! What an honour ! However i think like MissMint, please don't copy too much because it's funnier if we can see your touch !

Birgit, i know what you mean ! It happens to me all the time when i see a page by Cindy or Missy ! I always want to scraplift them each time they post in the gallery and each time i try i almost commit a CASE !!! I just can't scraplift ! LOL

this afternoon all my students cancelled, so i had time to scrap (of course i didn't tell the babysitter i was home :smug:)

i wanted to scrap two pictures i took in summer, so i needed a fitting page... this is the one i chose:

Im' afraid this is a case of CASE but this week was a no-brainer for me as I've been wanting to lift that wonderful LO from Keela forever and I always knew which picture I would use with it, this is one of my all-time favorite pic from DS' 2nd month photo shoot.

Hmmm, well I wanted to try this challenge, but just read that things posted in the gallery have to include product purchased from here. I wish I would of read that first....but anywhoo, I got a gorgeous page out of it!!
