HOW IT WORKS:
Download the template (http://www.mediafire.com/?gtjljzvvgym). Pimp-ify it (using mostly PC products).
Post your final product in the Main Gallery by Nov 30th and also post a link
to your page in this thread. Winner will be announced Dec 1st.

HOW A WINNER IS SELECTED:
The TOP 10 pages will be selected (by ‘Top’ I might mean the funny,
creative, imaginative, different, silly, clever, beautiful...not necessarily
the technically ‘BEST’) and from those 10 pages, a random layout
(by random number generation) will be selected and announced on
Dec 1st. Top 10 pages will be revealed.

I worked on this for the better part of 2 days...and no matter what I tried, how many tutorials I read,...I could not figure out how to "cut" a paper to the scalloped circle shape, or the star elements, or the rick-rack- nothing. I was so frustrated~ but kept at it. My PSE even hung when I was done with all but the journaling, so I had to start over with more than half of it! But I did learn to save often :) and I had fun in the end.

Anyway, here is my attempt, and I used 99% of the kit "Momitude" by Miss Mint.

Thanks for the fun template and the kick in the pants jump start into digi scrapping!!

Great job! Your girls look so cute in their dance costumes!

Hey, if you have any questions feel free to post them in the General Chatter section of these forums. We'd love to answer them for you so that you can love digi scrap before getting too frustrated! I know when I learned to "cut" things it made my life sooo much easier! All you do is place the paper above the layer you want to clip it to, and then press CTRL + G. If you don't want all of the extra layers, you can then press CTRL + E to merge the paper to the cut shape.

Thanks ladies for all the kind words! I finally did figure out to "cut" to a template shape you had to open the paper, etc...in its own window next to your project instead of just dragging from the palette bin and then trying to crop it. I completed another challenge at GDS yesterday using a another template, and even though it still took me hours, that is way better than the 2 days for my first one!!
I figured the best way to learn and get better is to just jump in- so here I am:)

Don't worry about the hours ! When creating a new page, it still takes me forever !! I usually need 10 to 15 hours sitting at the PC to complete one single page !!! Yeah you can say it, i'm a sloooooow scrapper ! ;)

Ok, here's mine finally ! It took me forever to figure out how to use this month's template with PC products (don't ask !! ) and finally this is what i came up with... I hope you like it because it looks very different from my usual scrappin' style ! It's pure craziness ! :D

Thanks for posting Kylie! I choose the top 10 pages. My decision is based on many factors - perhaps its a funny page, a very thoughful page or it is very creative, or a great color combination, or just very well done etc. And from the top 10 selections the winner is randomly selected.
