Mixed Bag Monday Challenge #14 - Hang On We're Going Hybrid

Oh :yes:. I know, I know, I hear a collective sigh that hybrid is hard. But hang on with me (no pun intended) cause I got an easy fun one for you all this week.

Your challenge is to create something to hang on a door.
Here are two examples by me:

As you can see, you can go as complicated or easy as you like. The first one was done using my cutter, ribbons, paint, and clue. The second one was done with a pair of scissors, cardboard from food products in my house and string.

You can go with something seasonal like Halloween or Christmas, or maybe a hanger with a child's name on it for a child's room. Or maybe you are in need of a baby sleeping sign too.

You can do it :cheer: I know you can. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

already have a little snowman here waiting to become my next hybrid project, that would have been perfect for this challenge! :noidea:

so here's my litte snowman. unfortuantely i couldn't do it as i wanted because i just brought a few things i printed yesterday at home.. these didn't really fit so i had to make the best out of what i had..

claire - i tried to print using the black only but i have a gallery printer and the stupid thing tells me....for your printers health please replace the following inks before printing, light cyan, cyan, light magenta, magenta, yellow. replace these cartridges and then try again.

grrrrr! why cant i just use the black? i dont understand technology sometimes!

I am so proud of you guys!!!! Look at all these cute, cute signs. Everyone one of them I look at and say "I want one!" LOL

I am so sorry you couldn't play with us Rhiana!! Did you try hitting the printer with a large hammer. That seems to work for me, :smug:. (SO KIDDING. Do not try that, lol.) I would give you a prize just for trying, but that wouldn't be fair now.

So instead I'm going to pick JEN!!! Cause that sign is so stinkin' fun!! Congrats chica!!!

claire....i tried everything but beating it simply cos my hubs wouldnt let me. he said something like i didnt spend 250 bucks on a printer for you to kill it...i tuned him out after that! i plan on playing anyway...i went and got and old one out of storage...amazingly it has ink still!

Yea! I'm glad you guys all liked it!

Birgit - Yes I do have a Cricut, but I don't have the SCAL software yet, so I can't use PC vector stuff yet. Those letters are actually just printed directly on the sign, with lots of shadowing! I'm glad it looks 3D though!
