Click-a-Pic Challenge #10 "Elemental"

Earth, Wind, Fire, Water. No, not the 70s band, but the actual elements. =) There is a lot of beauty in nature. One of the greatest natural beauties is the Grand Canyon. Talk about a giant element for Earth! Now obviously we can't all go photograph the Grand Canyon. But there are these elements represented all around us.

For this week's challenge, I ask you to go out and photograph something that represents one (or more) of the four elements. It doesn't necessarily have to be a literal interpretation. Earth could equal clay pots. Wind could equal your child blowing on a pin-wheel. Fire could be the blue flames of a propane stove. Water could be droplets of dew on the grass. Of course if you want to get literal with it you certainly may. Have fun!

You have from*Friday Aug 28th*to*Thursday Sept 3rd*to shoot your photos for this theme. Please submit only photos taken during that time frame. Below are some examples to get the creative juices flowing. Good luck and I look forward to seeing everyones photos!

I'm proud of this photo - look at the blue, and that's with no photo editing at all, the sky is that colour today! A beautiful blue sky with no clouds at all, perfect for the last day of winter :)

i decided on a spontaneous wild hair to drive out to the lake and get some sun-reflected-on-the-water photos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/shutterspeed25/). i got there just in time. today's sunset the sun was a bright red/orange...i really picked a good day to go. :D

It has been a crazy week with back to school prep in our house. On MOnday I took the girls to the beach and forgot about the challenge- but took this photo which seemed like it might just work!
