Mixed Bad Monday Challenge #9 - Make A Splash !

Hi there Girls ! I'm super excited to host my first MBM challenge ! This week's challenge - should you choose to accept it - is to create a 'splish splash'page using a duotone color scheme.

I guess you all have those funny beach or pool or even bath pics sitting on your HD, patiently waiting to be scrapped, right ?! So, choose your best one(s) and let's create something summery, something bright and something REFRESHING !

The only catch is ...you have to use a maximum of blue on your page and use embellishments evoking water: buttons, waves, ric-rac, splatters, acrylic bubbles or jellybets alphas... whatever you like ! There are lots of possibilities !

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Create a layout according to the challenge prompt.
2. Use a significant amount of Peppermint Creative product.
3. Post your page in the Main Gallery & link to it in this thread.
4. Pages must be posted by midnight on Sunday August 30rd (EST).
5. Winner announced on Monday (selected by challenge hostess).

Hey Brigit - by Duotone, we're looking for a layout using TWO colors.

To explain further, a monotone layout is when you use one color - for example BLUE but to make it interesting you use different shades and tones of blue. Light, dark, navy, purple-blue, etc. White and black can be added too.

SO..a DUOTONE page means you can use two colors. It helps if you use colors that go together like blue and purple. Or contasting colors like blue & orange.

i almost had this one in the bag today! grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

i was about to save my lo when ps just closed on me. no warning or anything. when i first got cs i used to have that problem all the time then i upgraded to cs3 and it quit but now its back to freaking out on me. anyone have any ideas what makes ps just shutdown?

oh what a shame!!! i had the same yesterday - but with the warning. it's not better knowing the only choice you have is to close it - without being able to do anything about it, saving or anything!

sorry, I am no help - it happens to me all the time! yesterday the problem was that i tried to scrap in 3600x3600 for the first time. last try that was :furious:
