Are you a music lover? Who isn't right? Do you enjoy poetry? Those words & verses that speak to our soul! I've always thought of song lyrics as poetry...at least poetry that I can understand anyway! :)
For this challenge I want everyone to photograph something that represents one of your favorite music lyrics or favorite poems. Keep in mind the rules of composition and some of the other elements we've covered so far. For this challenge think a little outside the box. Try not to be too literal with your interpretation and more artistic.
Also when posting your photo, whether it be in this thread or in the gallery, please include the inspiring poem or song lyric phrases so we can all see what moves you! :)
If you have any questions please feel free to post them or email me. I'm here to help.
You have from*Friday Aug 21st*to*Thursday Aug 27th*to shoot your photos for this theme. Please submit only photos taken during that time frame. Below are some examples to get the creative juices flowing. Good luck and I look forward to seeing everyones photos!

*i used a 'midnight sepia' action to create the "dreamy" effect.*
Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

*i used a duotone action to create the taupe-y gray color, instead of straight b/w. i also did a long exposure where i had the camera on a tripod. my apeture was at f22 and my shutterspeed 2 seconds! i had my oldest daughter & my son walk quickly around my chair to illustrate the busy-ness of children and moms just wanting to slow down!*
"Slow Motion" by David Gray
"While I was watching you did a slow dissolve
While I was watching you did a slow dissolve
While I was watching you did a slow dissolve
Did I imagine or do the walls have eyes
Did I imagine they held us hypnotized
Did I imagine or do the walls have eyes
Life in slow motion somehow it don't feel real
Life in slow motion somehow it don't feel real
Life in slow motion somehow it don't feel real "
