Aloha Ladies! My challenge, should you choose to accept it ;) is to create a card (or a set while you're at it) or a piece of art or inspirational quote and print it out on something other than white. I used Kraft, no surprise there, right? I love the look of screen printed or letter pressed cards, so I attempted to copy the look by creating monochromatic card designs.
here are some that I made, click for a larger view:

You can do whatever you like for a set. A birthday/thank you set sounds like a good idea. I was just thinking that while you're at it, you could do a bunch. :)

i might just have to if this comes out how i see it in my head!

i do have another question tho (sorry but like i said i have never done hybrid before). i noticed on you examples that the designs are printed directly on your cardstock...is that how ours have to be or are 3d objects allowed? again i am sorry for being a total nitwit!

by the way...i love you cards they are so simple and yet so pretty!!!

If you want to print it on another color cardstock, cut it out and mount it on something else, that is acceptable. The only requirement is to print on something other than white.

i finished finally yay me!!!

my first image is of my entry...birthday package. i used the sweet easter and party pants kits for all of my printing. i printed all of these on a variety of colors as well from yellow, orange, pink to green and various shades of blue. i mounted everything i printed on the chesnut cardstock.

the second image, well that was just a random make after i was finished with my package set and more of what the challenge was asking for. anywho i printed out my thinking of you card on a soft blue cardstock and put the digital to the left to show the differences.

so, i hope i did this right!

I went the quick, easy way, and made simple monochromatic cards. (The pictures don't do them justice though) I personnalized them for relatives who have birthdays in August.

Awww sweet cards everyone.

This challenge came just in time for my brother-in-laws birthday on the 15th.
I used the Mr fix it kit & some sexy 3D Decoupage....well it is his birthday! :censored:
