Welcome to the FIRST Mixed Bag Monday! Yahooo!! This was going to be a bi-weekly challenge but I think we can bump it up to a weekly challenge - you're a pretty efficient group of scrappers. ;)
Every week you'll find a new challenge hostess and a brand NEW scrapping challenge. And as the name of the challenge suggests, it's a Mixed Bag - meaning you just never know what you're going to get. No formula. Something different to every week to keep you on your scrapping toes. Play as often as like. Join in at any time.
CHALLENGE #1 - Then & Now
This week's challenge will be hosted by me...Miss Mint because it's my site and I said so. (ha ha!) And the theme was inspired by this ridiculous picture of my childhood neighbor Brian who would absolutely KILL me if he knew I was posting this so I don't intend to tell him.

On the left is a picture of Brian on my Mom's sofa when we were kids. I got my first kiddie camera and was soooo excited. I took pictures of just about everything (as you can see). Poor Brian. Years later he was over for a family get together and I got the brilliant idea of recreating this old photo. Brian agreed (why? I'm still not sure).
**So your challenge for this week is to dig up an old photo of yourself or someone you love and take a NEW picture of the same person recreating (as best you can) the original photo. Then scrap it.**
It doesn't have to be AS literal or as ridiculous as this one is. I realize that not everyone has the same couch for 20+ years (Mom it's time for an upgrade) or the same charm necklace from when they were 10 (I like to keep stuff - I have issues) but do the best you can. I predict that this will be a really fun one. I can't WAIT to see your pics.

HOW TO PLAY:
1. Create a layout according to the challenge prompt.
2. Use a significant amount of Peppermint Creative product.
3. Post your page in the Main Gallery (http://www.peppermintcreative.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=3) & link to it in this thread.
4. Pages must be posted by midnight on Sunday July 5th (EST).
5. Winner announced on Monday (selected by challenge hostess).
6. Winner recieves one Minty Buck ($1GC to the PC store)
7. One page per challenge please.
